Our journey began with our founder, Husain Najmi, who’s love for cooking sparked during his time as a student in Australia. Living in a shared house with fellow bachelors, cooking weekly meals quickly evolved from a simple chore into a creative expression. Alongside his studies in accounting, Husain gained hands-on experience in the food industry—starting as a dishwasher and later as a pizza delivery driver—where he discovered the joy of delivering meals that delighted people.
Returning to Dubai, Husain spent two years as an accountant but felt unfulfilled. His passion for cooking and creativity led him to pursue a professional culinary course at ICCA Dubai, where he became a certified chef in 2020.
After honing his skills in renowned restaurants and catering companies, Husain turned his dream into reality with the launch of Najmi Caterers in 2023. Today, Najmi Caterers blends passion, innovation, and dedication to offer exceptional flavors and unforgettable dining experiences for every occasion.
